Volunteer Opportunities
Our incredible volunteers are the backbone of our organization and play a big part in the type of experience our players have in our programs. We are always looking for help in the areas below. If you are interested, please contact us for more information!
Coaching
Over the course of a regular season Dover Soccer needs over 70 coaches and assistants across our Academy & Travel programs. All our coaches must go through background checks and basic safety & first aid instruction. Travel coaches must be licensed within and up to their age group.
Field maintenance
While the city of Dover lines the larger 11v11 field, we are responsible for lining & weekly re-lining of the smaller 7v7, 9v9, & other fields. Typically this takes about an hour once the lines are down. Each season we perform repair, such as over seeding & re-soding. We are always looking for an individual or company to donate time and equipment to do this type of work.
Concession
Each Fall, we have the use of the concession stand building at Shaw's Lane. Parents are requested to volunteer to cover two hours during any of the nine Saturdays of the season. Please be on the lookout for the SignUp Genius to select a block that works for you.
Board of Directors
Become a member of the Board of Directors to assist in steering the organization and assist in its ongoing operation. Multiple positions are available, including Members at Large roles to pitch-in where needed and where their time allows. See our Board page for details about specific roles.
